🚀 Looking Back: AMEC 2025 Highlights

The Asia Math Engineering Challenge (AMEC) 2025 brought together students from 12 different countries, creating a vibrant and collaborative environment for young innovators.

One of the strongest highlights was the focus on AI, coding, and robotics. Participants didn’t just learn theory—they actively built and programmed solutions using tools like microcontrollers and Arduino sets. Through guided workshops and digital challenges, students translated complex mathematical and engineering concepts into functional prototypes solving real-world problems.

From debugging code under pressure to assembling robotic systems within limited timeframes, the experience pushed participants to think critically and work collaboratively.

Taking place from 1–5 July 2026 in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, AMEC 2026 is designed to further elevate the experience with deeper technical exposure and more immersive activities.

🎯 Core Program Focus

Participants will:

• Explore digital technology concepts, including AI and microcontrollers

• Develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Build and present a working prototype addressing real-world challenges

🧩 Key Activities

1. Inspiring Sessions & Site Exploration

Participants will attend expert-led sessions and interactive workshops to build foundational knowledge before starting their projects.

2. Digital Challenge & Project Development

Teams will conceptualize, design, and develop their own prototype solutions with guidance from mentors and industry experts.

3. Project Sharing & Judging

Students will present their prototypes and ideas to a panel of judges, receiving professional feedback and evaluation.

4. University-Based Activities

Hands-on sessions hosted at a university environment will help students refine both technical and presentation skills.

A vibrant cultural exchange where participants showcase performances, fostering global friendship and diversity appreciation.
